We started Kixlogic as a practical ATS for small and mid-sized businesses. Over the past year, one pattern kept emerging from our customers: the organizations that got the most value were in life sciences — biotech, pharma, medical device, clinical research, and regulatory affairs.
The reason is straightforward. Scientific talent is scarce, specialized, and expensive. A single mis-hire in a Principal Scientist or Head of Regulatory Affairs role can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost runway. Existing tools — job boards, legacy ATS platforms, generic compensation surveys — weren’t built for this.
So we built something that was.
What is Kixlogic WIP?
Kixlogic Workforce Intelligence Platform (WIP) is three things in one:
1. Scientific ATS — post jobs, manage pipelines, collaborate with hiring teams, score candidates with AI. The same powerful ATS you know, with life-sciences defaults baked in.
2. Comp Intelligence — market pay benchmarks for life-sci roles, offer analyzer, pay equity analysis, compa-ratio reporting. Stop guessing what to pay a Bioinformatics Scientist in Boston.
3. Candidate Sourcing — AI-powered sourcing that searches academic databases, research networks, and the open web to find scientists who aren’t on LinkedIn.
What stays the same
If you’re a current Kixlogic customer, nothing changes. Your data, your pipelines, your team setup — all intact. WIP is an evolution, not a replacement.
What’s next
We’re working on Stage 3: workforce planning — merit cycles, headcount forecasting, and retention risk signals. The goal is to give life sciences hiring managers the same kind of data advantage that Bloomberg gives financial analysts.
Stay tuned.
